Baywatch may not be breaking any box office records, but the way Alexandria Daddario’s celebrity has risen, you’d think it was a smash hit.

Her promotional work, like the July/August of GQ Spain, probably has just as much to do with her spike in popularity, though. On second thought, it definitely does.

The critics are calling Baywatch a flop, saying what had hoped to make ocean-sized summer waves hasn’t even generated enough of a slash for the kiddie pool. But Daddario’s already cashed in and all that training she put in for the film has her looking better than ever. So by that measure, the movie’s been a success.
