Playboy has just crowned its first Native American Playmate of the Year in Brook Power, and they appear to have hit the ball out of the park with the selection.

The Oahu, Hawaii native, who was first honored by the iconic men’s magazine when she was named Playmate of the Month in May of 2016, becomes its 58th Playmate of the Year.

Power was photographed topless as well as clothed for her 11-page spread in the May/June 2017 issue, and she admits to not seeing much difference between the two.

“I actually didn’t feel as though the two were very different — well, that’s not true,” she said. “David Bellemere, the photographer for my Playmate of the Year shoot, is French, so he thinks being naked all the time is not a big deal. But other than that, it’s the same style of photography. It’s modern. It’s current.”

That’s all well and good, but we do see a difference. And it’s a fantastic one!
