Hooters meets Starbucks in a new coffee chain that’s beginning to sprout up around the country and based on its early popularity, the old coffee shop model is in for some stiff competition.

“Bikini Bean Espresso” has taken off so fast since first opening its doors in Spokane, Washington in 2014, they’ve since opened locations in Phoenix and Tempe, Arizona. And it’s easy to see why. The barista uniforms, which consist of bikinis, underwear or simply skimpy bottoms with stickers over their nipples, are considerably more attractive than what they’re wearing over at Starbucks.

Although the idea initially attracted some controversy from the state’s more conservative types, one of the company’s owners says the choice of “uniform” empowers women.

“Women everywhere have the right to vote, to be gay, to be successful community leaders and business owners, or even run for president!” said owner Carlie Jo. “We have the right to work with grace, confidence and dignity, regardless if it’s in a business suit, scrubs, or a bikini.”

Looks like they’re also empowering men to drink more coffee. Here’s a look at some of those “uniforms.”
