A man out for a relaxing bike ride in New York was brutally punch for apparently no reason, and is now fighting for his life.
Domingo Diego-Tapia was riding his bike in Brooklyn, New York, when he was punched in the face, according to NBC 4-TV in New York. Tapia fell and hit his head on the pavement and suffered injuries so severe he’s now in critical condition and in a medically induced coma in King County hospital.
The incident was caught on surveillance video, and that led to the arrest of a suspect. Gary Anderson, 29, had been charged with two counts of assault, NBC reported.
Diego-Tapia is a Mexican immigrant who owns a fruit stand, and his family has set up a GoFundMe account to help cover his expenses.
