Reeling in a massive Wels catfish is no joke — just ask these fishermen Facebook Screenshot

One bad thing about swimming in anything other than a pool is not knowing what else might be in the water with you. I’ll be the first to admit that I hate swimming in the ocean because of things like sharks, jellyfish and stingrays. But just as much so, I’m not keen on swimming in freshwater and, after seeing this video, it’ll be a cold day in hell before I hit the water. That might be too much, but I guarantee it won’t be anytime soon.

This group of anglers was fishing somewhere in Europe, which is just an educated guess considering that they hooked a massive Wels catfish, a fish native to Eastern Europe. Well, that and they weren’t speaking any English.

Either way, around the 8:00 mark is when the action starts to pick up. I’m not quite sure exactly how big the fish is, but it’s big enough to keep me out of the water.
