Australian tennis player Nick Kyrgios gets over his early Wimbledon exit by partying with two smokeshows in London Twitter Screenshot

Australian Nick Kyrgios isn’t one of the more popular players in men’s professional tennis.

At 22 and just four short years on the tour, he’s already managed to alienate practically everyone (players, spectators, line judges and chair umpires) with his abrasive behavior. He even once launched into a lengthy, profanity-laced tirade against an opponent during their match. In a word, tennis hasn’t seen such a loose cannon since John McEnroe.

That bad boy persona, of course, extends to his life off the court, and it was on full display this week at Wimbledon after he retired from his first round match for what he said was a hip injury. But just a few hours later, Kyrgios was spotted at a London nightclub dancing the night away with a couple of hot chicks.

It turns out that those two young hotties were 18-year-olds Chelsea Samways and Monique Belovukovic, who like Kyrgios’ own girlfriend, Ajla Tomljanovic, are also professional tennis players. And there’s a funny, little footnote to this part of the story. When Samways’ father caught wind of her night out with Kyrgios, he “grounded” her (how’s that for embarrassing?).

“My daughter is only 18 and a sweet girl,” Lawrence Samways said about his British hopeful daughter. “She’s been out all time of the night. I don’t like it. So I’ve taken her car away. She won’t be going out like that again.”

Looks like old Nick is giving the sport a much-needed infusion of drama, both on and off the court. Anyway, here are some pics from Samways’ Instagram page. Kyrgios might not have been able to help himself.
