There are some musical artists that seem to transcend time, and that’s definitely the case with Fleetwood Mac. The band has been around since the late 1960’s but took the form that we know today on New Year’s Eve 1974 when Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks joined the group.

In 1987, the group released Tango in the Night, an album which would be the last to feature Nicks and Buckingham for nearly a decade. One of the singles from that album was Seven Wonders, and just recently an early version of the song was released. Typically when an early version of a song is released, it’s nothing even remotely close to the original release. That’s not the case with this song. The early version is actually pretty damn good and might even be better than the original.

This is just a perfect example of Fleetwood Mac and their ability to continue to amaze people with their musical creativity. Maybe 30 years from now, another early version will get released to blow the minds of people in the future. Take a listen and see what you think.
