Nothing grabs your attention quite like a pornography addict getting crushed to death by his own unbelievably vast collection of dirty magazines.

That’s what makes this story so hard to believe.

Two UK tabloids, The Mirror and The Sun, both reported on the supposed fate of a 50-year-old Japanese man named Joji who was found death under a pile of pornographic magazines. Joji was said to possess six tons of the stuff — yes, 12,000 pounds.

A truly insane and questionably large stash in an apartment with whereabouts unknown.

The man was reportedly dead underneath the magazines for six months.

The Sun says that Joji used to makes cars and that the cause of his death is not known for certain. Whether the heart attack or being buried under magazines came first, investigators do not know.

Magazines were supposedly stacked all over the residence.

The story seems a little too good and a little too sparse on detail to be true, but, hey, who doesn’t remember that show “1,000 Ways to Die?” If it were still around, you can bet this story would make an appearance, true or not.
